Well, Not Exactly a Daycare
"I'm Just a Kid!" is an early childhood education center, that prides itself on being much more than just a daycare. "Play to learn" is their motto and it truly shows through their customized curriculum which was curated by their immensely qualified founder, Vicki Aguirre Cox. The goal for this daycare logo design was to remain youthful while putting forth the look and feel of advanced education.
Visual Communication
After thorough research, there were key visual aspects that were prominent. The imagery of growth, care, education, and playfulness rose to the top when evaluating what we wanted to convey within the logo. In order to evoke feelings of growth and care, the primary icon within the logo mark shows an abstract sprout that stems into the upper bodies of a child and teacher which represent the care and education aspects. The color pallet came along to help the overall brand feel more vibrant and playful.
What Were the Results?
After deep-diving into the visual cues for this daycare logo design, the design process continued until we came to a refined final decision. A logo that accurately conveyed I'm Just a Kid! and their values.
